OH-MY-GOD

I'm so sorry for not writing for what? a month?. It's a really hectic sophomore year and I'm starting to lose time for myself (including writing on this blog).

Well, today I found something interesting.

Yes, it is a reblog things.

I spent about 2 minutes to figure it out, and now when I found it, I realize that the picture will never be the same, ever again.

It reminds me of how we see people. When someone hurt us sometimes in the past, we will tend to see the bad side of those people, and sadly, we will see them differently and will never be the same, just like the picture above.

If you can't find the mistake, don't try harder because honestly, I kinda wish I didn't find the mistake. haha.

Cheers.

Wake Me Up When September Ends

Welcome September! (FYI, I always hate September)

Short holidays are over and now I'm facing the truest hectic weeks ahead. One of my lovely junior bought me a planner book and I really thanked her because now I can be more organized than ever. :P

Anyway, I put one of my doodles on the cover page, I made it last year though.

yeah, everybody wants happiness. happiness means holiday. everybody wants holiday.

Well, my other junior also told me about this extremely touching video also by Thai Insurance.

Everybody loves Thai Insurance.
(If only Indonesia could make an ad as good as this one *obviously without plagiarism*)

I will write longer when I have the time, I promise.
Cheers.

A Big Fat Lunch

Have you ever heard of White Hunter Ribs Grill and Bar?

Today, my family and I decided to go there to have a big fat lunch. We went to White Hunter in Living World Alam Sutera. Too bad I didn't take any camera with me, and sadly, my blackberry's battery was dead. However, I really want to share the food there. It is literally big and fat.

Please bear in mind that below pictures are not mine, I found them on Google.

At first, I think that it's Han Gang Restaurant, but then I realized that they share the place.
The place is quite comfy though.

My dad, mom and little brother ordered jumbo size White Hunter Pork Ribs (top-left)
I ordered roasted chicken (top right)
And my little sister ordered Sniper Steak Medium Cooked (bottom)

The White Hunter Jumbo Pork Ribs is served in a really really enormously big portion. I can't believe single person can eat them all. I think it is bigger than the one in Tony Roma's.

*this picture is also taken from Google*
Sniper Steak is on the left and White Hunter Ribs is on other side.
You got the idea how big the ribs are?

If you ordered jumbo White Hunter Pork Ribs you can choose two side dishes, the choices are: Fried Fries, Mashed Potato. Potato Wedges, Rice, Corn, Baked Beans. You can also choose the sauce between: Mushroom, Black Pepper and Wine Sauce. Sniper Steak also allow you to choose the sauce only with one side dish, while the Roasted Chicken only offer you one choice of side dish. FYI, I really love the mashed potato there. It's really yummy ;)

Talking about the price, I think it is not as expensive as Tony Roma's. The portion is also slightly bigger. My Roasted Chicken only cost 58k++ (even cheaper than Marche's), The Sniper Steak cost 150k++ and The Jumbo White Hunter Pork Ribs cost about 295k++.

I really regret that I didn't take any picture because I also drink an unique beverage called The Traffic Light (and I can't find it on Google). I think they named it based on its color. There are three layers of color in the glass, which are red yellow and green, so no doubt on the name right? I think it's a mixed juice because I can taste kiwi and orange. It tasted a bit sour but I love it. (Yeah, the beverage is expensive. Traffic Light cost 40k++)

Anyway, there is 50% discount promotion (everyday) using Mega cc, 30% off (weekdays) and 25% off (weekends) using Mandiri or BNI cc. Too bad I didn't have any Mega cc. *sob

Only now I realized that I ate too much today and my lil sister also said that our year round weight reducing diet has collapsed today. I said: what if the food worth all of its calories? :P

This is soooo true :P

In addition, Happy Eid to those who celebrate and happy holiday (and happy seeing the rare friendly traffic in Jakarta lately) FYI, 3in1 is not applied from 29th August til 2nd September, so enjoy the deserted road before it's too late. :P

Cheers.

Little Taste of Heaven

New academic year means end of holidays. Does it sound awful? You just have to see from different side.. I love it when the holidays are over because I usually get some souvenirs from overseas and did I ever mention that one of my friend is Balinese? He brought me this:

YES, it is the well-known Pia Legong Keju
*ignore the overly-ecstatic face*

I'm not a big fan of ordinary pia, honestly, I hate it. At first, I think this Pia Legong is just like those common pia only with bigger size. Then I got a taste of it and now I blame myself for taking that step because the more I eat the more I crave them! Luckily my friend brought me a box of it containing 10 pias, and the best part is it is for free hihihihi *you know how food become much more delicious when you don't have to pay for it. Got it? apply that theory to this case*

nom nom nom... :9

I also got this thing:
Yeah it is some kind of puzzle for the brain

It's totally made in Japan.. (I don't even recognize any of those letters)

Talking about the brain, yes, I can't solve it until now.... And surprisingly, my little sister solved it after trying only for 2 hours! *sob. Actually, it's not my fault, spot the top-left of above picture. There said it is for grade 3 which also stated for experts. So it is not my fault if I can't solve it right? I am frankly a beginner. (let this be my excuse, let's just forget that my lil sis has solved it and at least make me a little happy okay?)

Anw, the next thing I got is this:

It is a lucky penny! *sorry for the unfocused picture*

One of my friend went to England last summer and brought me this penny. Actually it was a normal penny, round and thick and everything, just a typical coin, but then she put it to a machine that run over the coin, flattened it, and stamp the coin with the 'My lucky penny' text. The text is embossed. She had to pay a pound anyway. It's really vintage right? I really like it! :D *well, in fact I will be much more upbeat if she brought me prince Harry HA-HA*

The last thing is that Victoria Secret's Body Lotion that I have written about before.

I'm thinking to write about UPH Festival, I have some random things in mind. Let's just see what I'm going to write next. (Apologize me if I'm being too random about things)

Cheers.

Life's Sweet

This is a story about what happened on last Monday.

I MADE CUPCAKES!

Yeah, actually I made it with my highschool sweethearts. Anyway this is my second time baking something. I went to my friend's house in Kemanggisan, partly because I don't have any oven at home and also to meet my lovely friends! *remember previous post when I mention about taking lots of photos, that I forgot to publish? It's them!*

Meet us! *posing with the dough*
Me. Erine. Vanissa. Gaby.
(Mimin arrived later and I forgot to take any picture of her, my bad :P, but she wouldn't mind anw)

Let's see how it's going!

What you need.

Do you know what this thing is? Yes, it's related with dentist stuffs.
I'm just destined to neglect the urge of knowing this kind of things.

See the clock? It's taken when we start our baking activity.

The Dough.

It's the oven that I never own. sob.

They need to be in there for an hour!

We had nothing to do, so we just went around Gaby's house.
She has really cute hamsters and a really beautiful and comfy backyard! Envy!
We were having fun, I even played UNO with her little brother.
(We were having too much fun until we forgot the time)

In fact, we missed five minutes, Thanks God it didn't burnt.

Looks yummy right? I made Vanilla flavor this time.

Now, it's time to decorate the cake (to make it look more appealing).
And the result is.....

TADAAA!!!
I made the pink. the plain soft blue and the front soft purple, the rest is Vanissa's creation.

It's Erine with her lovely creations.

You see the small hearts? Yeah, I planted them one by one on my cupcakes.
You can call me anything, but it is what they called creativity, dude.

THIS IS MY CREATIONS!
I think it looks amazing (for real right?), especially to be compared to my previous work.

I decided to serve them as breakfast one by one each morning and I took last picture of them before being proceeded by my digestive system.

Day 1.

Day 2.

Day 3.

Actually, after finished with baking, a problem occurred. I didn't know how to bring home my lovely cupcakes :( It's really a coincidence that my friend, Mimin, gave me body lotion from Victoria's Secret (I really love the smell! It's wild and I think I'm gonna buy it for myself later :P), and I exploit the bag to carry home my cupcakes!

You see the Victoria's Secret bag? You see the body lotion?
and you see my little cupcakes invading the body lotion's place.

Vanissa and me taking picture with Fujifilm Instax while holding our little cupcakes.
(you won't even notice it's cupcakes if I don't tell you, right?)
I remember how Vanissa grumbled after the picture appear and she also yell at Mimin for taking the picture from wrong angle (we both look fat in the photo right?) hahahhaa how funny.

Got curious about my previous work? Here it is! (Don't laugh, I have remind you)

I made these in February. Spot the 'love mom' cupcakes, a total failure right? It was chocolate flavor btw.

After a day of baking, we went to Central Park and eat lunch at Hachi Hachi Bistro. I had Black Dragon Roll, while Vanissa and Mimin had Spicy Seafood Udon, and Gaby had something I forgot the name. Too bad, Erine had to go home early due to academic purpose of her university.

Delicious! Spot the hot ocha in a giant cup.

After that I watched Harry Potter 7.2! Actually it has been playing in the cinema since last Friday (you know about the banning of Hollywood film in Indonesia right?), but people are just too excited, the tickets were sold out very very fast. Well, it's the best Harry Potter film ever and too bad, there will be no Harry Potter film again. (I didn't read the novel so to be honest, I was a little bit confused when I watched the film and I asked a lot of questions :P)

After watching Harry Potter, I craved for okonomiyaki and went to Okirobox for dinner.

Nom nom nom. Did you know that Okonomiyaki means 'whatever you like' in Japanese?

Well, that's all happened that day, I totally had fun and I am definitely in love with baking!

Cheers.

It's (not) just an Ad

Well, hello people! It felt so long since I wrote my last post. Yesterday, I have just got back from a very tiring mentor-training at Puncak. It was 3 days, lemme tell you the worst part(s). First, when we went there, the bus broken down so we had to waste an hour waiting it to move again. Second, it took 6 hours to reach home due to the (really really bad) traffic jam. Third, we were not supposed to bring our cellphone and other electronic devices. Yeah, three days without blackberry, iPod, etc. We also didn't know what time it was, since we were also forbidden to bring wrist watch and ALL of the wall clocks were nowhere to be seen. (I know it was sucks but thanks God it's finally over).

After those three days of hell, I don't feel like doing anything today (even if it's Saturday, who cares). So, I just youtube-ing and found some great (and tearful) commercials. Most of them are foreign ads anyway. I swear, they are all worth watching.

I cried after watching this ad :'(
Yes, it is in Mandarin. My mom said that the native dialect is in Taiwanese.
(I don't understand, so with all due respect to her, let's just pretend it is Taiwanese)

This ad is especially for you, girls.
I (also) cried after watching this ad :'( --> this time I cried harder
(Don't judge a video by its thumbnail, yes I know the thumbnail is not convincing but believe me, you have to watch this one)

I (also) cried watching this ad! --> I know sometimes I can be so sloppy.

The last two ads are from Thai Insurance, all of their ads are sooo touching but these two are my favorites. Here is one of the comment:
"Chai Chaiyawun" the President of Thai Life Insurance company ltd. have said that the main reason of his ad. is not to "sell insurance" but to create good conscious mind to thai social. Because he believe that when the whole social is good, all company and organization including to country must be good too. Which is the real sustainable development. -- user kkofg on Youtube

Watching all of these videos make me remember about Indonesian Ad which make my eyes teary. It's an old Tropicana Slim's ad, if you happened to remember.

I think this Ad is the best family-theme Ad ever on Indonesia's TV Screen.

However nothing beats my favorite video on Youtube, "The Places We Should Have Gone" by Wongfu Production. I even download the video to watch it whenever I feel like to. (I do think it is better than the more-famous Strangers Again video, although I do not deny that Strangers Again is awesome)

I just found out that Youtube-ing is actually fun (especially for those who has nothing to do, like me in the mean time). I know all of the above videos are so melancholy, maybe sometimes in the future I will post about funny ads. I hope you enjoy the videos and I'm sorry if you have watched all of the them before (and I am more sorry if you cry a river right now :P). Have a great Saturday!

Cheers.

Half of my heart

ROOM MATE.
Yeah, they are the first ones you would run to whenever you had nightmares.
Well in my case, I'm lucky to have one of the best! Meet her,

Jessica Christy
(Isn't she [...or the Tiger plushie] lovely? :P Check out her cool blog too! Click Here!)

We lived in two-bedrooms apartment right across our high school FOR THREE WHOLE YEARS and it has been a year since we left the place. We go to different college, life must go on anyway, isn't it? We're kinda busy but finally we have the time to meet each other, just the two of us last Wednesday. She arrived around 11 at my house and we started out first stopping at Soto Haji Mamat Gading Serpong :D

Soto Daging Kuah Santan

Oseng-oseng kuah bening

It turns out Oseng-oseng tasted better but with Kuah Santan :P Next, we went to Living World Alam Sutera and stopped at Chatime. She ordered the famous Pearl Milk Tea, while I hate pearls so I went for Grapefruit Green Tea (now I wonder why it's not green, just ignore). I love the beverages because you can pick the sugar level whatever you want it to be (ranging from no sugar to 100% sugar).

Pearl Milk Tea and Grapefruit Green Tea with Pudding topping.

After the food invasion, we went playing badminton and swimming in Aryaduta Sport Club. Yes, it was really tiring! The good thing was toasts we bought before in Roppan had been waiting for us. Ikebanana was mine (and come out as my favorite), it's banana and cheese and chocolate and utterly delicious. While, she had Pom Pom Ringo which basically is slices of apple on top of the toast and it's great too! ;)

Ikebanana and Pom Pom Ringo

I think it's the most productive day of mine since ever. It's really fun to meet her, it feels like we're still in high school :') She's totally the same person, funny, bright and everything (only 6 kgs lighter, about that, I'm on my way to lost some weight too fyi) Too bad we didn't even take one picture of us. I promised we won't forget to take some next time! By the way, I dig up thousands of photos on my laptop and found these! :')

This what happens when the homeowners are outrageously creative.

Look who's taller? ;)

The last pict I took before moving out, the place was sadly deserted.

The Old Days ;)

About the Tiger plushie, yes, she has three of them differing in size. She really is a big fan of Tiger!

Remember this? ♥

p.s. : I really wonder who live in our ex apartment right now :P
Cheers.
