It's an ice cream, It's Es Krim Om!

For you who live in Tangerang or goes to UPH, you must have tried or known (or at least heard about) ES KRIM OM, but for those who don't (pity you *whoops), it's a must try!

It's me eating Balsamic Strawberry from Es Krim Om (between office hour).

Es Krim Om is a home made ice cream owned (and made) by Om Chandra Suryadinata. The store serves various unique flavors that will fish your curiosity out to taste them all. Below listed some of the flavors.

Earl Grey Tea with Shortbread  Cappuccino  Peanut Butter  Stracciatella
Apricot  Cheese Cake  Raspberry    Olive Oil and Parmigiano  Balsamic Strawberry
The Famous Amos Cookies  Ferrero Rocher  Java Chip   Matcha
Koko Krunch  Cheddar Cheese  Marie Regal  Lapis Legit
Salted Caramel  Cinnamon Raisin  Swiss Chocolate  Oreo
and coming soon flavors
(they always create new appealing flavors with compelling names, you won't find anywhere else)
All sounds so good and tempting right?

Can't distinguish them? Me neither! Check out the list on the paper.

All the ice creams' color resemble one another, because they did not add those vicious food additives and colorings. Different mouthwatering flavors are available daily (5-8 flavors each day). so you won't find all of the above in a day (which will make you not easily get bored - and assure the likelihoods to keep coming back). The truth is sometimes when Om Chandra didn't make ice creams or the ice creams are sold out (believe me, they are sold out at most of the time), the store will be closed. --> Relaxed, he will post on twitter (@eskrimom) if the store is closed. An advice for you who come from some place far away, it's better to check the twitter page first before you hop into your car. (Don't force me to say 'I've told you' in the future, okay?)

Balsamic Strawberry!
(its taste reminds me of Strawberry ice cream from Haagen Dasz, only more delicious)
p.s.: it's not what you think it was - it's half eaten when I suddenly remember to capture it.

Well, if you actually went there, you might find it hard to spot the place because the ice creams are sold in a house (literally the place where people - particularly Suryadinata family - live). In general, it is located at Diponegoro neighborhood in Lippo Karawaci. I don't know the address (I just happened to know the place and how to get there), but thanks to Google, it's in:

Jalan Gunung Pelangi no. 106
Taman Diponegoro - Lippo Karawaci

If it is your first time, the bigger chance is you will get confused. Tips for you: just come inside the house and you will spot a freezer on your right, don't hesitate to open it, and tadaaa there lie your ice creams, pick your favorite flavor (trust me, they are all incredibly yummy), and then don't forget to pay Rp. 15.000 for each by putting the money in the box beside the freezer (yes, it is a self service store, so honesty is really overrated). Enjoy your ice cream!
“I wanted to produce homemade, premium-quality natural ice cream that anyone with concerns about the health risks of food additives would feel comfortable buying, for themselves, and for their children.” - Chandra Suryadinata

ME WANT MORE, ME WANT MORE, ME WANT MORE....

Cheers.
